What is Favorite Tutor?
Favorite Tutor is one of the features available in Snapask that allows you to mark a specific Tutor as your favorite. Once you have favorited a Tutor, you are then able to ask directly to that Tutor which we call as asking "Designated Question".
To find the list of your favorite Tutors, go to the "1-on-1" tab and click on the heart symbol on the upper-right corner of the screen. [Image]
How to favorite a Tutor
To favorite a Tutor, please follow these steps:
- During your session with a Tutor, open Tutor Profile (click on Tutor's profile picture or username at the top). [Image]
- Below his/her profile picture and username, click on the heart symbol. [Image]
- Once it changes color, then you have successfully marked the Tutor as one of your favorite Tutors. [Image]
If you happen to miss it during your session with the Tutor, you can still favorite them by opening your Question History and open the Tutor Profile (Learn more about Question History here). [Image]
Note: You cannot favorite a Tutor from the website.
How can I ask questions to my Favorite Tutor? (Designated Question)
You have 2 methods to ask questions to your favorite Tutor.
First Method
- At the homepage, click "Ask Now" [Image]
- Choose the type of question you'd like to ask ("Ask a Question" or "Book a Mini Class") [Image]
- Take or upload the picture of the question
- Fill in the details of your needs, grade, and subject [Image]
- Click "Choose a tutor" and select "Favorite Tutor" [Image/GIF]
- Choose your favorite Tutor [Image/GIF]
- Press "Ask Now"
Your question is then sent right away to your chosen favorite Tutor.
Second Method
- Click on the "1-on-1" tab and go to Favorite Tutor list (The heart symbol)
- Choose your favorite Tutor then click "Ask Now"
- Take or upload the picture of the question
- Fill in the details of your needs, grade, and subject
- Press "Ask Now"
Your question is then sent right away to your chosen favorite Tutor.
Note: Tutors may reject your "Designated Question".
I cannot ask "Designated Question". What should I do?
If you cannot ask "Designated Question", it means that you have reached its weekly limit. Open "My Balance" from your profile to check on the remaining "Designated Question" quota you have. Purchasing any plans will give you a higher weekly "Designated Question" limit.
