What do I need to know to conduct a good session?

Here are some tips and reminders to help you conduct good sessions:

1. Follow the PDCA standards for sessions. Tutors are expected to follow the PDCA standards whenever they assist students. To learn more, please refer to the Tutor Handbook.
2. Respond promptly. Once you start a session, you have 15 minutes to respond to a student. If the student has clarifications or needs additional explanations, please send responses within 15 minutes of the student’s follow-up request.
3. Manage expectations. If you need additional time to send or explain your solution, please inform the student (e.g., “I’m still working on your question. Please give me 2 more minutes.”).
4. Stay calm and professional. If you encounter any issues during the session, please stay calm and reach out to us for support. Here are the steps for reporting a session.
